A couple of weeks ago we told you how to vote for Kerrang’s top 100 bands of all time. The results are apparently in and the countdown is this coming Friday (march 21st) on Kerrang tv at 5pm, Sky channel 358 or Virgin channel 342. We’ll let everyone know where the boys feature in the countdown for those that aren’t able to get the channel.

Also, this was posted on the official Lostprophets forums yesterday :

 We have heard it through gravevine that Lostprophets will be appearing at this years Summer Sonic in Japan. This hasnt been updated on the Summer sonic website yet, but thanks to one of our friends on here who confirmed that updates for the festival are recieved through being signed up to updates with your mobile phone, and it was announecd that the boys would be playing

Over the last couple of days we've had quite a few of you ask us about some tour dates and a supposed release date for the new album, and we'd like to take this oppurtunity to clear a few things up.

Firstly, the dates that have been posted here

are NOT for Lostprophets as advertised, but are actually for Simple Plan's UK tour in April.

Secondly, the album release date. This caused quite a stir yesterday when it surfaced, but unfortunately, this isn't happening. This thread here on Megalolz.com should hopefully put that rumour to rest.

We would also like to stress that this information was posted by someone random on Dragonninja.com and not Cat who runs the site. Where this person got the date from, we have no idea. All we can say is that until the guys make an announcement themselves, don't always believe all that you read.
